AM1-AP-3A Inductive Proximity Sensor

AM1-AP-3A Inductive Proximity Sensor. This is a three wire PNP inductive proximity sensor with a two meter cable. It can detect passage of ferrous materials (bolt head, screw, etc.) on a rotating shaft to give you a tachometer reading. This quite sensitive version can be 4mm away from the target and still discern small metal pieces from the background. This device is recommended by EVnetics for use with their Soliton line of controllers. We tested it on the Escalade and fell in love with it. A small LED on the sensor actually lights with each pulse giving you an indication of operation. We love it.
