Good, High Quality Parts - documents not so good

- 10/08/2013

The billet and wiring were superb as was the AVC2 board. The documentation, while usable, was only fair. It does not illustrate the actual plug - there is a small green wire to the 'ground' that is not shown on the diagram. With a little thought, it is obvious that it must go to the AVC2 J1772 'ground' connection.

Also the order of the pages was mixed up.

I believe that there are other vendors for similar kits. This one appears to be very robust and that's why I selected it, even if it cost a bit more.

Work of art

This connector housing is extremely well made, and beautiful in appearance. The aluminum housing is drilled and tapped for mounting with 6-32 fasteners. The main wires are #8. Hole saw of 1 1/2" required for drilling your mounting plate. The housing can be separated from the nylon connector by removing a retaining ring. The AVC2 board is in a nice package that is easily mounted. Great work by David Kerzel.
